Mosaic tuition
Every month Daniel Rust offers a mosac glass making workshops in the retreat, giving participants the chance to not only create a unique piece of art to take home, but also the skills to be able to start a satisfying new hobby. A simple lunch and soft drinks are included in the price, as well as a relaxing swim at the end of the day.

The aim of the course is to provide the environment, materials and guidance so beginners to more accomplished artists can produce their own mosaic artwork and relax or take advantage of other activities at the retreat.

During the course you will learn the basis of cutting and shaping glass and mosaic tiles. On the course you will be able to complete a mosaic mounted on board for you to take back home to enjoy and impress your friends. Templates are available and Dan is on hand to help you with any design or idea you may have. No artistic skills are needed to take part! For example on a 2 day course you can expect to produce a mosaic of approx. 35cm by 35cm.

The art of mosaic does take time but is thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying and the retreat provides the perfect setting. The courses will take place in the garden of the retreat on the covered patio or inside the workshop.
