30th August Funday in aid of NewLife4Spanish Animals
An open day is being held at the beautiful Tara’s Retreat Holistic Centre at La Magdalena, Cartagena,Murcia, on Saturday30th August to raise much needed funds on behalf of NewLife4SpanishAnimals. Music, refreshments, swim in the pool or relax at the water’s edge, fund raising activities, table top sale, card readings, and massage are all taking place from 12pm onwards, and one of NewLifes’ famous table top rummage sales will ensure every supporter has the chance to bag a bargain.
Any bookings for courses, workshops or classes at Tara’s Retreat placed on 30th August will receive either a free class or 10% discount

DE-STRESS AND UNWIND AT TARA’S RETREATTHIS SUMMERThree special workshops are being run throughout the rest of the year at the beautiful Tara’s Retreat centre in La Magdalena, Nr. Cartagena, Murcia. Aimed at relaxing, gently conditioning the body and learning a new skill. A massage therapist will be on site and card readings will be available.
19th August De-Stress day
is a day dedicated to complete relaxation and self-indulgence. Arrive at 10am to relax and unwind before starting a Meditation /Relaxation session at 11am, then free time to relax before a delicious lunch, sharing time (bring something meaningful, a picture or book or poem that you have written, optional) and a chance to talk amongst like minded friends, Angel readings as well as unlimited use of the beautiful swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Price 65€.
20th August Mosaic Workshop
Artist Dan Rust offers one of his popular Mosaic workshops, giving participants the chance to not only create a unique piece of art to take home, but also the skills to be able to start a satisfying new hobby. A lunch and soft drinks are included in the price, as well as a relaxing swim or Jacuzzi at the end of the day. Dan Rust is a talented local artist who offers a full range of courses and undertakes a wide variety of individual commissions.

21st August Pilates workshop.
An introductory day to this gentle method of body conditioning, which builds strength without adding bulk, improves posture and flexibility and relieves unwanted stress and tension. The day will include a chance to swim, relax and talk about how to improve health and diet, back pain and posture and discuss weight loss issues.
The tutor, Viv, is a qualified Body control Pilates teacher as well as a Dance and aerobics instructor and meditation specialist. A workshop is recommended before taking regular classes. Price 40€
Other dates planned for these workshops are October 21st, 22nd, & 23rd and November 21st, 22nd & 23rd book by August 30th and receive a 10% discount
Pilates classes
6 week course starting on Tuesday 2nd September at 10.30am till 11.45am.
Classes will be held in Tara’s Retreat studio. This is suitable for beginners, however it is usually recommended, to have completed a workshop day, or attended a private session but it is not obligatory.
(Further courses will be available from Tuesday 4th October for 6 weeks.)
Book and receive the 6th Class free. Classes are payable in advance at 36 Euros for the course or 30 Euros if booking on or before the 30th August
Mosaic classes
6 week course starting on Wednesday 3rd September at 10am till 1pm
Classes held at The Mosaic Workshop, Tara’s Retreat. Suitable for anyone and can also be suitable for anyone who has previously attended a workshop/course but would like to develop further.
Book on or before the 30th August and receive the 6th class free. Classes are payable in advance at 90 Euros for the course or75€ if receiving the early discount.
