Where is the retreat?

It is surrounded by mountains and is 15 minutes from unspoilt and protected beaches, 10 minutes from Cartagena, which is a beautiful cosmopolitan City with interesting architecture, lots of history, particularly around the Port which is beautiful and where the cruise ships regularly stop off. We are 25 minutes through the mountains from the port of Mazarron, where you can sit along the promenade looking out to sea and enjoying lunch at one of the many seaside restaurants.

Your peaceful holiday venue

Tara’s Retreat is a peaceful and perfect venue for a relaxing holiday, where you can recharge your batteries, enjoy home cooked food (special diets catered for) and enjoy a variety of activities depending on your itinerary. You can either take part in one of our arranged retreats with the emphasis on Pilates, Yoga, or Golf, and with added activities such as meditation, horse riding, walking, cycling, scuba diving, spa days, evenings out and sightseeing in the City of Cartagena. Or you can arrange your own group and build your own itinerary.

The house is fully air conditioned with large swimming pool and hot tub. We have a mirrored studio for classes and activities inside. See the Accommodation page for details.

Your holiday at Tara’s retreat will include full board, all snacks, airport pick up and drop off and depending on the itinerary, visits to local restaurants and days out. We will arrange your flights for you too.
